Are the patriotic "good Christians" raising money to feed the hungry? Help the widows and orphans? Benefit homeless veterans?

Speaks volumes. If private charity can replace government aid, where are they?

When do parents have to feed their own kids? A box of cereal and peanut butter and jelly is too much to ask parents to do?

I think parents who neglect their duty to their children should lose them. Public government schools have no authority to force others to pay for parents who cant or wont do what they should.

Instead we pay twice for this. Parents get food stamps and sell them, knowing that food stamps wont buy drugs and goodies like a Cadillac or big screen TV. They know the schools will feed their kids for them, so its easy to work the system. And they do it very well."

And when they are taken away, where are these children going to go? There's tons of kids waiting to be adopted right now -- waiting in government-run homes! I guess only those with money should have children.
