7. I read an article which said that fire in the spent fuel is most dangerous
Because of the fact that the radiation isn't released as steam, but as particulates- which is what happened at Chernobyl. - the nuclear materials burned-

The the spent fuel rods must be kept in water, if they aren't they will burn. If # 4 is burning- and it's the fuel rods which are burning... this is really, really bad.

I'll see if I can find the article and link it.
