A call to DUers that use B of A!
If you have 1 cent in a B of A account, for Pete sakes remove it. They are nothing more than a criminal enterprise. They have destroyed countless lives and are hell bent on ruining more.

Don't help them succeed. Help them fail

2. NATIONAL BofA PROTEST on 3/26 (next Saturday)
http://www.usuncut.org/targets

March 26 Target: Bank of America
(Bank of America will continue to be US Uncut's main point of focus for nonviolent, creative demonstrations to maximize the public's awareness about how this tax dodger (and others) has imperiled an entire nation with its greed. If you have a story you're willing to share about how Bank of America's reckless banking schemes have affected you and your family, send them to usuncut@gmail.com.)

Despite ruining the economy with their reckless greed, Bank of America has consistently avoided any form of accountability to the American taxpayer. In fact, in 2009, Bank of America actually received a net tax benefit. Yes, last year, the federal government gave Bank of America $2.3 billion. That money alone could almost completely cover the proposed $2.5 billion cuts to the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which helps low-income families pay their heating and cooling bills and affects 34 million households. Bank of America is the largest bank and 5th largest corporation in the country, holding over $2.2 trillion in assets, and yet it pays less in taxes than the average American household, which made between $35,400 and $52,100 and had an effective tax rate of 14.2%.

We pay our taxes, why don't they?

Citizens across the country are targeting Bank of America branches and peaceably but forcefully showing them that they can't get away with such egregious tax-cheating.

Some chants for BofA actions

Bank of America, Bad for America!
Hey, hey, B of A, how many taxes did you pay? ZERO!
I pay, you pay, why doesn't B of A?!
Hey, hey, B of A, how many taxes off-shored today?!
Move your money, switch your bank!
B of A don’t want to pay, what they owe the USA.

4. I recently purchased a bullhorn with a siren from Radio Shack. I plan to make use of it in my car
after checking legality. I plan to use it every time I pass a Chase or a B of A. Thank you for condensing a message for me. I would like to see a Bullhorn Brigade developed in every city.

6. I am trying to get my kid to change
to credit union (I did over a year ago) but she is soooo stuck on the "they are everywhere though" meme. I sent her the link to the fees that they will probably be raising on her account soon. I told her to ask them if they will be raising her fees as she initially got a "student account" with them where they were not supposed to charge her monthly fees. I hope she takes my advice.

9. If an ATM is the only reason...
Buy a pack of gum with a debit card at the grocery store and get cash back. I moved to a credit union and have been very pleased with them and knowing I'm not supporting a tax-cheat company.

11. Maybe I muddled my response
I was referring to the above poster's "kid" who didn't want to change banks because of the wide availability of BofAs ATMS. Believe me, I know there are many reasons not to do business with BofA which is why I changed banks a while back.
