I think we should invade N. Korea
Since apparently we are all born again war-hawks who care so much about the suffering that goes on all over the word, why dont we just invade all the countries with piece of shit dictators who routinely murder their people.

All we have to do is get the UN on our side and suddenly any sort of war is totally cool and perfectly legal and moral. Who cares if we have no money or any of that stuff.

I have decided henceforth that America is responsible for saving every single abused citizen of this planet. If you disagree with me, that means that you dont care about all those suffering people all over the world and want them to die.

:sarcasm: This argument should be carried to it's fullest conclusion to be effective. Let's invade a lot of countries at once in the name of bringing democracy and freedom. :sarcasm:

24. I see...straw men are ok when they're your straw man
Thanks for illustrating my point perfectly. Anyone opposing military action gets accused of supporting Gadhaffi's actions, as if it were that simple. Same fucking shit repukes were saying about those of us opposing military action in Iraq, that we were Saddam lovers.

31. It's real simple for me and I am consistant. It was wrong to go into Iraq. It was wrong to go into
Afganistan. And yes, it's wrong to now go into Lybia. I don't give a damned who is president. I don't swing that way, but it seems to me that a lot of people do.

21. You might get your wish if they get hot with South Korea again seriously, they are an ally.
I'd like to think of myself as neither hawk nor dove and yeah I'd rather soften up dictators and murders than power Pax Americana for the multi-nationals.

23. but we did go to war w/ N. Korea by sanctioned UN coalition. in fact, we're still at war.
the armistice is just a cease fire, and we've been in this situation for decades.

this may not be the best example for the point you were trying to prove. would you like to try another one? :)

29. Different situations.
A war with North Korea would be just that, a war. Then you have to consider China's response (which wouldn't be much) collateral damage to Seoul...etc. In Libya, we can easily stop mass murder without endangering our service men and women too much. We should do it.

hawks.

Personally, I'm advocating for a no-fly zone over Gaza.
