*Only 9% of Americans think Obama born in US* according to poll that doesn't even ask that question
This has to be the most misleading poll of all time.

Not even one person in 10 believes Barack Obama has shown that he is eligible to be president of the United States, according to a stunning new scientific poll that also reveals political independents have less tolerance than even Republicans for his efforts to obfuscate the issue.

"The shocking result in this survey is that just 9 percent said they believe Obama has met the requirements to prove he was born in the United States and is therefore qualified to be president," said Fritz Wenzel, president of Wenzel Strategies, which conducted the survey.

BUT............. the poll doesn't even ask that question!

The question asked was "Are you aware of questions raised about Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility for the office of president?"

Yes... we are all aware of this issue, that doesn't mean we agree. IDIOTS

How do they get away with this???

6. Yes. "The alternate self-contained right-wing media universe," as Rachel Maddow calls it.
AKA the right-wing echo chamber.

13. Some of these online "news sources" hide their identity using registar services.
I tried to look up one, and found you cannot even identify where on the planet they are.

14. You've got the details wrong. The question is in the poll.
WND just misinterpreted the answer.

Your link is to Question 1 of the poll, testing respondents' awareness of the issue. Check , however, and you'll see that the question was asked: "What is your view of lingering questions about Obama’s eligibility to be President?"

Only 9.1 percent of those polled selected "Obama met requirements", which is where WND got its summary. What WND didn't want to acknowledge, however, is that an additional 32.1 percent selected"Questions are not valid" -- which is probably another way of saying the same thing, to most people.

Nevertheless, even aside from this particular poll, I think more reliable sources have found a substantial number of Americans who believe that Obama wasn't born here. Perhaps I should say "who believe that our first black President wasn't born here." Regardless of whether it arises from racism, we should admit that the right-wing noise machine has gotten quite a few people believing this.
