Dear All:
I do not believe I have ever posted anything here before; however, it is surprising that I have not seen any postings about Japan by anyone from Division 45 so far. For the catastrophic tragedy that people of Japan are going through I would like to sincerely hope that there will be more postings to generate ideas and efforts to encourage what each of us can do. If that means that some of us choose to do so quietly and individually, that's great. If some folks start organizing some efforts, via Division 45, that's great too. I am sure that each of us would find appropriate and comfortable ways we can extend our compassion.

I am also watching (as the whole world is doing so) the all too real radiation scare. The historical irony of how this is happening to Japan is mind boggling.

We tend to gather around when catastrophic events happen and forget after a few weeks when they no longer enter our day to day lives. It is obvious that Japan will need a long term help from many people. I would humbly ask that all of us stay mindful of that harsh reality.

I guess i miss your point in sharing this. Surely we all share the sentiment, but what exactly did you want us to gain/take from this? :shrug:
