It finally picked up about midway through, and I think I like it.

1. Inception:

Inception
2010PG-13 148 minutes

Nominated for two Golden Globes, this unnerving sci-fi thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Dom Cobb, who earns a tidy sum infiltrating the dreams of corporate titans to steal their most closely held secrets. Tapped by a rich industrialist (Ken Watanabe) for a job involving a rival's heir, Cobb marshals a team of specialists that includes his right-hand man (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), an architecture student (Ellen Page) and a chemist (Dileep Rao).

Cast:
Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, Marion Cotillard, Pete Postlethwaite, Michael Caine, Lukas Haas
Director:
Christopher Nolan
Genres:
Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Sci-Fi Thrillers, Psychological Thrillers, Blockbusters, Blu-ray, Warner Home Video
This movie is:
Cerebral, Imaginative, Mind-bending
Format:
DVD and Blu-ray

I saw this at a second run movie theater (a big one where I used to watch movies as a little boy in the late 50s and early 60s) and although I liked it, the movie took more concentration than I was willing to give it at the time.

12. It just didn't do it at all for us...
we probably weren't in the right mood. One of our girls (well, she is nearly 30) loved it, our 25 year old hated it.

I looked through quite a few of the IMDB reviews - quite a polarizing movie - 75% or so loved, 25% or so loathed, not much in between.

2. it was entertaining enough
the FX was good

we have a "10 minute" rule with Netflix, we'll give almost anything 10 minutes, we watched this all the way so yeah, it was good and neither of us is a big DiCaprio fan

3. Too complicated.
A little tough for me to root for a corporate raider. The mission didn't seem entirely ethical.

6. Inception might be a movie that I would come to like more with repeated viewings.
It was like that for me with "No Country for Old Men" because watching it in the theater I was put off by the stopping of the movie.

10. Had to watch it three times...
it's not an easy one to understand, that's for sure. We gave it to our 17. yr. old son for christmas so we can watch it over and over.

11. We adore this film. One of my all-time favorites.
We bought the blue-ray for Christmas. We rarely spend the extra money for blue-rays, just for the films we love the best.

I thought Joseph Gordon Taylor was just so smooth and this was Tom Hardy's film. I've always liked him, but he was in top form as Eames.
