Exit Through the Gift Shop......WOW
Nominated for Best Documentary, it follows a French shop owner Thierry Guetta, as he becomes submerged into Street Art at the turn of the Millennium. Banksy, Shepard Fairey and other Street artists are also featured as he films there art in action for nearly 10 years.

Great beginners information to those unfamiliar with street art. The story is about Thierry and his turn from video to street art. The ending is jaw dropping and will leave you laughing.

5. How did Thierry not pay his dues?
Maybe not the conventional way...but 5 years is 5 years of paying something.

Super interesting movie....

9. I thought, and still think, that Grizzly Man was a complete hoax.
I have never met anyone who shared that POV and most people think I am just crazy - but, I really think it was a monumental hoax that will be revealed in time.

10. I don't know
I have yet to see that doc. Remains of Treadwell and Huguenard were purportedly found:

But then, like I said, I have yet to see the film. I have though, glanced at a few skeptical references to Treadwell over the years.

11. I would be interested in what you think if you watch it.
There are some really questionable parts - like they have an audiotape of the actual attack, but don't play it??

I think Treadwell is on a Caribbean Island having a good laugh and Herzog will reveal the secret at some point

14. But I've heard the audio. Unfortunately I don't remember where.
I remember feeling sick to my stomach when I could hear him asking his girlfriend to attack the bear with a frying pan to save him. I don't understand how he could have brought his girlfriend out there, to live like he does, without her having some kind of firearm protection even if he didn't want to carry anything himself.

When you put yourself out there like that, it's really a matter of 'sooner or later,' I think. But I do not like that he brought that gal out there to risk her life with him.

I never doubted the story was 'real.' Where does that idea come up?
