Reminiscent of the classic "Upstairs/Downstairs", this post-Victorian era story centers around the heirs to an English estate, their family, their servants, the class system, the burgeoning women's rights movement and the sexual mores of the times. Bonus yummy cast member - Dame Maggie Smith as the no-nonsense dowager Countess.

I highly recommend this program.
