Does anyone watch/stream Netflix or TV on their iPhone or iPad?
I just got an iPhone4. I installed the Netflix app. It streams just fine. The screen resolution is amazing - tiny, but true HD quality. As an experiment, we played a moved in the car while we were driving (no, I was driving, not watching). Even away from our home WiFi it played with no stalling or freezing. Amazing. Totally amazing.

I also loaded a movie DVD onto it. That took 1.3GB, but played flawlessly, too.

I also have the Justin.tv app. I can stream MSNBC live. That, too, works flawlessly. As good as watching it on cable.

Do other phones have this ability? What are your experiences?

1. Mr. K has been burning NtFx DVDs to his iTouch for over a year
we don't have much wifi around here once we leave the house, but he loads em up and watches them at work when there's down time out there

he loves it!

i just burned 5 workout DVDs onto mine for when I start work again, I can play it through the TV up there in the gym and work out before I come home, haven't tried it yet, but hoping it will work flawlessly too

:hi:

6. I find the whole damned thing pretty amazing
They're like Star Trek communicators!

I recall vividly the 1964 World's Fair in Flushing, NY (Now the site of the now dead Shea Stadium :) ). They had a display of a video phone. It was basically an old wall phone with a tiny B&W CRT in it and ghostly images of another person's face. That was all done with wires and vacuum tubes and a few transistors.

I remember that phone from Popular Mechanics. My dad was fond of saying that almost all the futuristic gizmos he would read about in Dick Tracy had come true. Still waiting on my flying car. :)

8. I watch a lot of movies and TV on my iPad.
I love how I can set it up in the kitchen and watch something while cooking. I also love how I can sit in bed with headphones and watch while my husband reads. He complains about my laughing and crying, but it's so nice to be able to do this. I can even watch something in the cockpit while we are underway, as long as I have a signal.

:hi:
