The fax I just sent to my 2 RepubliCON Senators

I doubt it'll make any friends or persuade any minds -- but I think they deserve it. I consider it my equivalent of protest since I'm physically unable to join any.


In my 69 years on the planet, I've never been angrier about anything than I am over the @GOPTaxScam you're about to vote for. It was created in one-sided partisan darkness, without regular order and can NOT be said to reflect the will of the people which makes it unAmerican and undemocratic. Its provisions are outrageous, irresponsible beyond words, and will be catastrophic as they roll out. It also reflects incredible corruption -- Sen. Corker's special little benefit is by no means the only example, I'm sure. Despite all of this AND its unpopularity, all of you are going to vote for it anyway, lying to the American people about it every step of the way. All I can say as you work so very hard and fast to prove EVERY bad thing the Democrats have ever said about the RepubliCONS is, to adopt a phrase: "Please proceed, Senator."

I have just sent a fax to John Cornyn using fax zero. I borrowed heavily from the text of your fax. I have called him many times and it is really a lost cause, but persistence is still necessary. I added that I will make it my life work to knock on doors in order to register voters and motivate people to vote.
