Kansas is not the best model for what is about to happen to the US

Greece is.

To compensate for the lack of tax revenues we will be put under austerity.

When that doesn’t work, more austerity. And more. And more.

1. Yep, that's always been the plan.

The GOP has been working for this since the new deal.

4. Once the rich fleece an entire country, I think they leave and go to greener

pastures and nicer and safer places to live.

9. My theory: this is why the US govt keeps funding Mars and the Moon missions.

Even though we desperately need that money for domestic issues.
The rich are getting their escape pods ready for when they have totally trashed this planet.
And why they need trillions of dollars.

13. This has crossed my mind before...

2012 was a terrible movie, but the premise makes you wonder.

Didn't see the movie 2012. Will have to try and find it online.

6. The Gilded Age of the Robber Barons has returned.......

With a vengance thanks in part to Donald Trump and the Republicans.

There will be no US Economy when Trump is done because people will not have money to buy things, even basics like food and shelter.

15. I agree and

I have said before that America unfortunately goes through cycles where the Rich have extreme control followed by a disaster and then a correction. Unfortunately we are in the negative part of the cycle.

12. the rich screwed the middle class big time
