So, one vote doesn't matter? They, according to their law, are going to decide the vote by a coin toss? Is this for real? If so, why do I waste MY time voting? Let's just flip a coin on all the elections! Jesus!

This is how many local races that end up in a flat-footed tie are decided: a coin flip or cutting the cards. This is used ONLY in races where the certified result is a tie vote. The idea that "all the elections" would or should be decided by a coin flip is remarkably silly.
