No cell phone service, no tv, but miles of trails, and nice wood stoves.
Lots of history close by too.
I love wood paneling!
I'm on a river, and my home is seriously relaxing, but I'll keep this in mind!

(70,483 posts)Falling Water is about an 1 hour away, so is Antietam, Casselman's Bridge*, Casselman's Restaurant,
and lots of history and nature. If you go midweek you might have the park to yourself. I have
only been there in the fall and winter but it is nice year round.

(22,976 posts)I fucking HATE the low winter light. My wife loves it, but she dislikes the long summer sunshine. We help each other through the solstices.
