All 100 US senators signed a letter to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres Thursday demanding an end to the “unacceptable” anti-Israel bias in the international body.

The strongly worded letter, authored by Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Christopher A. Coons (D-Del.) and released on Friday, was signed by every member of the US Senate.

And what is the issue of a Star of David in a cartoon relating to Israel? After all, it is the dominant feature of the Israeli flag. Would you also find that offensive?

I never, ever exchange about Israeli-Palestinian conflict on the net. Not because, I'm not interested or because I don't know enough about the subject, but because it is very sensitive and most of the time, it derails...

I have a deep knowledge of the subject and of the ME history. I had considered a while a thesis on a specific point. I finally changed my mind.

I remember once, I argued on a point of law from a technical angle and only a technical angle, I got shot down...

What is offensive in these cartoons ?

If you go by this standard, any cartoon with any flag from any country can be seen as a disrespect.

About the article and the letter, I'll will not give my opinion. I've explained why below.

Please don't misunderstand me : I'm not for or against, I just never argue about this conflict on the net.

The only thing I say about, is : I wish from the bottom of my heart that an acceptable solution for both parties will be found.

1 - There is only one cartoon with David star

2 - I often post toons from European newspapers to show how American news (and Trump) are perceived.

The subject is obviously very sensible for you. I understand that. It is one of the trickiest problem (if not simply the trickiest), on both side people are suffering.

I'll do a very small exception Nothing bothers me more than people throwing "their truth" on a subject they almost know nothing about. Again, do not misunderstand me, I'm not at all talking about you, I have no idea how deep is your knowledge.

It is not all black on one side and white on the other, alas, for many countries it is a convenient conflict, an outlet.
