much less refuse to condemn. Republican office holders have been bought and sold. Why do you think they all have bodyguards or 20 of em for Pruitt. They know they robbed us. That $12 trillion addition to the deficit by 2027 projected in spring 2017 by the CBO with a sharp reduction in discretionary spending was all hunky-dory.

That already was "a future ... mandated for the next generation ... in which the government has few resources to respond to a major economic crisis, let alone to invest in keeping the country competitive."

Even the remaining "discretionary spending" as forecast by the CBO was still weighted differently, because some "discretionary spending" is all but untouchable, leaving what's available for things like, oh, "resources to respond to a major economic crisis" or "invest in keeping the country competitive" even more sharply reduced.

Meh, it's all good. We have a scapegoat and the really important thing is to not get the blame.
