(182,778 posts)During the holidays I understand that people can sign up and deliver a few packages a night for extra cash.

(67,104 posts)the person earlier this week had a little unmarked white car. They also offer inside delivery here, I imagine that's available where they used this type of delivery. I fortunately have a rather, somewhat, secure place for them to drop off package ... but if I did not I think I would use their inside deliver service.

(182,778 posts)In 2006, after their devastating loss in the midterms, the lame duck Repubs in the House and Senate forced the USPS to immediately finance their retiree health plans for the next 75 years.
Remember they HATE the Postal Service. Santorum tried to privatize weather away from NOAA to AccuWeather (big donors to him) also.

(67,104 posts)destroy the US government and replace it with a GOP shyster operation while the stupid portion of the US applauds, as they get run over too. Fuck, so many people are so outrageously stupid and propagandized in the US. Idiocracy is clearly the major product of the US under tRump.

(3,427 posts)Although that could change soon. The Postal Service is trying to get the authority to increase rates on its own. So Trump might get his wish to make us all pay MUCH MORE for our mail.
