You have never seen American police brutality like this.

What will you do? It seems that there might be a problem that is a bit larger than just this one incident.

BACKGROUND INFO

Anaheim, California. Following a shooting of an area man (important new video below), the neighbors in the area confronted gathered police to demand answers as to why they reportedly overreacted and shot a fleeing man in the head. The video you see above is what happened next.

"He's Still Alive!" Video Emerges of Immediate Aftermath of Anaheim Police Killing of Manuel Diaz

Anaheim police just seconds after they shot Manuel Diaz to death
See "Anaheim Police Department Kill Another Man After Day of Protests"

The Weekly has obtained a video recorded in the immediate moments following the Anaheim Police Department shooting to death unarmed Manuel Diaz.

The source (who requested anonymity) was on the scene, and audio from the video confirms what eyewitness accounts have confirmed but which police refuse to do: that Diaz was shot in the head.

The most harrowing part of the video, however, is the fact that Diaz was alive--and police stood there for over three minutes and did nothing. Instead, they seem more concerned with pushing witnesses away from the scene, the better to diminish the video quality of the footage, when they weren't actively trying to block the source from recording.

See the video for yourself:

The police were just firing into a crowd with children everywhere. There was NO SIGN of violence from the crowd.

It's well documented by numerous cameras... there are MANY police will will lose their jobs on this one.

Clearly it is the culture of the police. They don't even know how fucked up their behavior is, do they?

I would be very surprised if any cop lost his job. I would love to see it, but I have seen too many cases where the cops did get away with murder.

This case also shows why I love cell phones. Without the video recording of several witnesses, I am sure the official police report will claim the dead man was heavily armed and charged the peaceful police officers.

And the fact that the police asked to buy the cell phone footage speaks to the fact that they KNEW they were guilty.

Corrupt, dirty bastards.

But the Anaheim police have a well-established reputation for using excessive force and not losing their jobs or even being disciplined. The brutality of the patrol cops is expected and supported by those higher up in the police department.

The local residents know, for example, that the police not only killed the unarmed man in this latest incident but that they killed another unarmed man just two years ago.

What kind of police fire rubber bullets into a crowd of women and children who obviously are no threat to them? Maybe it is the kind of police who know that their superiors expect them to deliver violence. Maybe it is the kind of police who know that they will not be disciplined.

I, for one, have no faith in America's law enforcement system. I expect these pigs to find a way to an acquittal on this.

Not so much as a whisper. I guess it's just too common to be "news".

That whole "If it bleeds, it leads" thing is pretty thinly parsed these days.

and the majority of Americans did not bat an eye.

Cops will try to get away with whatever they can get away with, and the justice system will protect them. If we continue to remain silent, they will only get worse.

Their primary function is to protect the interests of the 1%.

police is protecting and serving the 1% and the 99% are paying their salary.
Yes you, the taxpayer pay the 1% to move your jobs to china and you pay for
the bullet the police uses to shoot you and your children.
90% if the police and fire department are skinhead and nazi republican Union thugs with badges.
Once we face this reality the better.
there is no difference in what i see in this video and what i saw in the Colorado shooting.
The one percent is telling you loud and clear, that there will be no protest when they rob the banks and the American tax dollars.

In a way, it is more comforting that the major source of violence in America is from crazed psychopaths shooting up strangers.
