Papa johns is hurting

Last edited Mon Jan 1, 2018, 07:31 PM - Edit history (1)

Im very happy that the boycott is hurting them. A ceo who is ruled only by the dollar, I’m glad is all. And that they are trying all kinds promotions and it doesn’t increase business.

He was greedy because he was unwilling to absorb the cost of health insurance but he failed to realize that most Americans, even Republicans, would happily pay a little more for their pizza if it meant full time employees got health insurance. Instead of providing health insurance, he cut all full time employees down to 29 hours a week or less. So now they're poorer AND uninsured. What an asshole.

Worse than even the frozen kind in most cases. And it seems all the industrial chains, except for maybe Pizza Hut and Little Caesar's, support right wing, nutter causes. Either way, I choose not to give them my cash, period. Virtually every town, even my small, nearby burg, has at least one local pizza joint that takes pride in their work. Whether home or on the rode, I choose to support the independents. Better pizza, and always interesting variants on the theme. You simply don't get that with the nationals. I for one love pizza, but because of the saturated fats don't get any delivered. Instead I find a good crust (thin), and I use Kraft's Fat Free Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses to make my own. Usual toppings are mushrooms, chives, onions, olives cut in half, and basil. I cover the whole concoction with garlic powder and then top it off with fat free Pam Olive flavored spray before it goes into the oven.

It's better to wait for him to get to his knees so I don't miss.

I wouldn't buy one of his pizzas if I was starving to death and it was the only thing left to eat.

Papa Johns & other fast food pizzas have to improve their food quality to stay in business.

Have to agree here. I have eaten Papa Johns probably 10 times. Each time it was pretty bad. A few times, when he ran promotions, the pizza was free or half price. Even then, it was hardly worth the trouble to choke down. Pizza hut and Little Caesars are better, and they are both pretty bad too. Sometimes a cheap pizza, at maybe 7.99 is not worth it compared to a good one at 11.99. Plus Papa John is a jerk.

Practically no sauce, skimpy toppings and tasteless cheese. Where are the "better ingredients"? At least Caesars and Pizza Hut flavor their sauce with some pepper or oregano or something, and they actually give it to you on the pizza.

than the cardboard box it was delivered in people wouldn't be so hesitant in buying it. Oh, that the part about the owner being a Nazi doesn't help much either.
