Peace is not the absence of conflict

It is the ability to handle conflict using non-violent methods.
Someone should tell the Con aka the wuss.

There are other words for what you describe. Let's not take words with positive warm and fuzzy connotations and semantically broaden them to near meaninglessness in order to just spread the warm fuzzies while manipulating the dialog.
