Republicans Are Playing a Dangerous Game

I liken it to a game my cat, Bobbie, often plays with me. Now, despite my opinion that I am smarter than my pet cat, I admit that she gets me to play this game far more often than is probably prudent:

The game begins when Bobbie walks up to me, or jumps onto the piece of furniture where I am sitting. The next step is when she swiftly rolls over on her back to expose her light-colored underbelly. Simultaneously, she makes a cute little noise to attract my attention and looks at me. That's her move.

My move is to reach over to her and give her exposed belly a little stroke with my hand. That is the only move I am allowed to make.

Depending on factors I must not completely understand, she either stretches her little body in pleasure or swats my hand with her paw with claws unsheathed. Due to my complete lack of communication skills with felines, I am unable to predict which action she will take. The game is apparently a test of my ability to detect her intentions in advance.

I play this game poorly, it seems, as scratches on the back of my right hand evidence.

I have played this game hundreds of times with Bobbie, but am still unable to successfully predict the outcome. Clearly, I am not as clever as my cat.

Republicans are playing a similar game, both with the American population and with our allies and adversaries. I fear they are no better at it than I am with my kitty.

... Trump and Rorbacher (sp) being on Russia's payroll so I have no doubt that either most of the KGOP is in on it or has knowledge of the GOP political party working with Russia.

They're faces are going to get clawed, I pray that its soon

When the mitt is on, there's a different game. That game involves how many strokes are acceptable before kitty has had enough of that bullshit. It's another difficult game that I usually lose.

And yet, kitty can still get me to play, just about any time.

Inevitably, this neuters Congress itself. It would only be just if their party was the first to feel the major effects.
