Trump hits Dems over DACA: Hispanics will start 'falling in love' with Republicans

President Trump on Tuesday said Democrats aren't interested in fixing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, arguing advocates for the program will ult.

"Democrats are doing nothing for DACA - just interested in politics. DACA activists and Hispanics will go hard against Dems, will start 'falling in love' with Republicans and their President!" Trump tweeted.

Congress is poised for a showdown over the future of DACA, an Obama-era program that allows certain immigrants - called Dreamers - who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children to stay here to work and go to school.

Congressional leaders from both parties are expected to discuss the program during a meeting on Wednesday at the White House.

13. The scary part is, Trump really believes what he says.

He's untethered by facts or reality, so his mindset is an acquired choice. Presumably he comes by these nuggets of inspiration from the propaganda speakers at Fox News and the White Supremacists at Breitbart. Given the sort of people he has surrounded himself with, his staff is also doing a fair bit of apple polishing to set him on the chosen path.
