Why is Bannon all of a sudden dissing on Trump and his criminal gang? Is he trying to pretend innocent? Or has he been surreptitiously spying. Trump has known to be a radical idiot for years. Maybe government secret ops wanted an insider just in case Trump was elected.
I known this is a ridiculous. But also delicious to speculate. Now that we are in the middle of this and Bannon is making allegations in a new book.

(31,106 posts)He works for Putin and they have a deal, when the deed is done sure Vlad gets my house, your house, most of the land and businesses in America like he did in Russia but Bannon gets his own little world in Hollywood.
Bannon gets to own all the major studios, etc.
This is what is happening, right now.

(64,869 posts). . .in a Guardian interview. Since the truth and Bannon are normally not two words we see in the same sentence, it's news.
He dropped a dime on junior, Kushner, and some nugget about some other billionaire saying "it" was both crazy and stupid.

(10,824 posts)He wants to burn everything down. Then remake it in his own image like most egomaniacs. But unlike the Trumpster, he's not stupid or ignorant.
Which makes him cunning and dangerous. If he's dishing on Trump and his family today, there's a reason and that reason will serve him and no one else. Bannon is a jackal posing as an unkempt man. Wouldn't trust a word he said.

(21,739 posts)Putin's Rasputin is that one guy who's name I can't remember right now (and I'm too busy to look it up) but you will recognize it when you hear it. His M.O. Is to create confusion to cause the downfall of an enemy. That is why you hear all these mixed messages from Team Trump/Russia.
Last night Rachel was explaining how bots are now using real people's names to write to regulatory commissions expressing opinions on things like the tax bill, health care, and net neutrality. The opinions even vary, but they all originate in Russia and are sent in huge bundles at the same time.

(1,619 posts)He now believes that Trump is going to get his fat ass booted out of the White House for treason. Once that happens Bannon sees himself picking up all of the fallen pieces and taking Trump's place as they leader of the American right.

(4,459 posts)... who is a well connected lobbyist in DC (yeah, yeah, I know, but its true).
He says the lobbyist knows Bannon pretty well, and that its all a total act. Hes actually a really nice guy who found a way to make a killing off of internet conspiracy nuts - including (kind of unexpectedly) one who happened to become prez.
I gave my friend my best WTF, I want some of your drugs look, and he laughed and said thats exactly how I reacted, but the guys very no nonsense and he swears on it.
So who knows.

(4,377 posts)I've been wondering a lot lately whether there's a chance he could be a Trojan horse character. It sounds utterly ridiculous but he's been quoted ridiculing and demeaning exactly the people on the right he's supposedly representing. He also never really talks about what it is he actually wants, it's always this vague revolutionary talk. Then now and again he seems to slip and say something like this Trump Jr stuff which could easily have come from someone on our side.
Very peculiar character. Maybe he's just batshit crazy, but he's the only one in that group who I don't feel like I have any understanding of their personality.
