(64,988 posts). . . Trump didn't write that. Each paragraph is a cogent thought and the next thought comes in the next paragraph.

(4,407 posts)I know some Trumpies... they thought Bannon walked on water. He represented the most ardent of Trumps ardent base. I don't think either of them are smart enough to play as a team like that. Trump's ego is to big to let someone dis him or his administration, even if it is a ruse.
I think Bannon has decided he doesn't need Trump or that Trump is already gone.

(5,937 posts)This is can serve to distract media and Democrats and muddy the waters. It really adds nothing, not even more credibility to the claims and investigation but could poison the well. Talk about kabuki.

(15,316 posts)there is all kinds of crazy pouring out of this statement.
" won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party." - the voices in his head again telling him he defeated the "greatest field" ever assembled
"Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isnt as easy as I make it look" - Nobody wins like Donnie Short Fingers...ya' hear me?
"our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country" - this is Sally Fields yelling "You Love Me! You Really Love Me!" at the Oscars
"Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me" - Steve, I hardly knew ya'...ya' putz"
"Like me, they love the United States of America" - Not like Dems, who--like--hate it!
FUCK EVERY LAST GOD DAMN PERSON THAT VOTED FOR THIS FUCKING PRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!

(12,132 posts)this wasn't theater on their part. At lunch with my conservativ-ish boss we saw the CNN crawl with this story and I said then I didn't believe it. The right knows how much we love to think they are falling apart and they love to have their little "gotcha" moments because they think it makes up for real gotcha moments like when Palin can't recall any of the many magazines she reads.
They think it means something to see us LOL'ing when it was all a set-up.
peggysue2
(10,828 posts)political theater to distract us from something else. Maybe something getting ready to swing around the corner with Mueller's check mark on it. The Trumpster has been tweeting out a storm with all kinds of crazy, now Bannon deliberately bites the Orange One and his clan and we end up with a food fight after school.
The cray-cray just keeps coming.
Btw, are we to believe the Trumpster wrote this response? Not in hot New York minute. I vote Kelly Anne or Sarah. Terrific projection, too:
When Bannon lost his job, he lost his mind.
You can't make this stuff up. Really, do they ever listen to themselves??
Obviously not.
