I scored 3 pr of boots for a homeless guy yesterday.

It has been minus 22 to minus 11 for 3 weeks now. No let up.

I scored 3 pr of boots for a homeless guy yesterday.

I live in a HUD bldg. Disabled by abusive husband, 66. These people break your heart. Jamie, 18, no teeth, tattoos by HIM, moved next door. Just knocked and asked if I wanted to go to WalMart with him....that means he knows I have a car....it is hard to say no, but not today ........I am sick and not going out again for anything.

Happened to be reading the PEOPLE mag this AM. A tiny Q&A with Ellen DeGeneres..asked her What is her idea of a perfect day? She says, Selling my house and buying a new house.

It is hard living in America 2018.

OK, Ok...I'll quit complaining about the 30 to 40 degrees we have here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm sure the people you help, appreciate it more than you know. Hope you feel better, soon.

you have electricity! You give as much of yourself as you can but you must take care of yourself first and that sounds exactly like what you are doing.

But there are dental clinics who take care of people in pretty much every city. I cannot imagine someone at that age who has already lost ALL their teeth. I had older relatives grow up in poverty, but certainly had not lost their teeth at 18. That is scary. What does “tattoos by HIM mean?”

for elderly and disabled there is NO dental or eye care. None. There are programs for little kids, but they are few and far between. Perhaps 3 in the entire state.

Jamie has some teeth in the back near as I can see. Of the 73 tenants here I would say a quarter have missing teeth. Poor people have missing teeth, I didn't believe it either until I moved here. Unless you live it, you don't know it.

He does his own tattoos....he has a huge one on his neck he just inked that seems to be the brand of his sneakers...2 huge interlocking Cs.
