"In his first comments after the President blasted him Wednesday, Steve Bannon tells a radio listener that Trump is a 'great man'".

Whatever this game is...

To chase their tails. I work in an industry that utilizes confusion, misdirection and disinformation.

This is definately that.

Something is afoot.

we do answer to a reputable and accountable master despite making the shiney, interesting things appear *over there*.

Sadly, I dont think the ten-gallon asshat shares the integrity the people I work for represent.

We do good stuff.

Too many times I've raised my eyebrows listening to the news lately and muttered "oh, reaaallly..."

I'm convinced he's a closet drunk on a bender with a grip on his Twitter that could yank Excalibur out of a rock.

He, being a pathetic narcissist like Donnie, thought HIS wing of the con party was bigger than donnies. Anyone looking at the comments at that site today saw them tossing Bannon under the bus without a second glance. I also think he was trying to get his unending support for child molester Moore out of everyone's mind.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bannon-says-he-still-supports-trump-even-with-threat-of-legal-action-from-trump-lawyers/

Even though President Trump has disavowed him and the president's lawyers have threatened legal action against him, Steve Bannon says he remains a staunch supporter.

On "Breitbart News Tonight" Sirius XM radio show, hosted Thursday night by Bannon himself, the former chief White House strategist fielded calls, among them one that mentioned Mr. Trump's statement about Bannon. Bannon told the caller "the president of the United States is a great man. You know I support him day in and day out."

Earlier Thursday, after excerpts from an upcoming book, for which Bannon was a source, portrayed the president in an unflattering light, Mr. Trump ripped Bannon in a statement, saying that Bannon had "lost his mind" after he was ousted from the White House. And later, Trump lawyer Charles Harder sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bannon that accused him of violating a nondisclosure agreement by talking with the author of the book, Michael Wolff.

The letter threatens Bannon with monetary claims against him for violating the agreement, although the letter does not say when such an agreement went into effect and whether it explicitly applies to disclosures made by Bannon while he worked at the White House. The NDA Harder quotes warns against using any confidential information that would be "detrimental to the Company, Mr. Trump, any Family Member, any Trump Company or any Family Member Company."

who needs enemies?

IMHO, Bannon understands Trump has no core beliefs, only an unprecedented need for attention and adoration. Bannon lost the battle for Trump inside the WH, but if he can wreck the current crew around Trump, his vision for American can re-emerge from the ashes. Trump is Bannon's only hope to have his political views enacted since McConnell, Ryan, "the establishment" don't buy into it. Sort of like a 4 cushion bank shot.

...and he wants to position himself in a similar role for the next wave of fasci...I mean conservatism. As such, he has to distance himself enough that he will be left standing if and when the administration comes crashing down, but not distanced enough that Trumpistas will remember him in the future as "the guy who stabbed our hero in the back." So, his approach is going to have to be to harshly criticize "those around" Trump, including his family members and closest advisers, and even lament the fact that Trump wasn't perceptive enough to realize how they were "betraying his MAGA vision," but still presenting himself as a dyed-in-the-wool "true believer."

From the incredibly damaging reportage with regards to what a complete clusterfuck this entire administration is. Just the fact alone that they let this Wolff dude hang around, and that 200 people gave him further interviews describing the fucking HELLSCAPE that is the past 1 year in the WH ... I mean MY DOG.

If the rest of this book is like what we've seen, I mean NO PRESIDENT IN HISTORY would survive this friggin' book.

Is THIS FUCKING IDIOT ASSHOLE going to be 'the one that does'?

Are we THAT FAR GONE?

The excerpts I read confirmed what his ghostwriter from the 80's, and my own eyes, have seen for the past 2 years ... and what they say is absolutely TERRIFYING to any remotely sane person. We should NOT be subjected to this. And the GOP should FUCKING ASHAMED they aren't putting a stop to this FARCE.

I hated (most of) them before ... but now I want them to all die of the most painful case of ass cancer possible. Preferably broke and in jail, relying on prisoncare for their treatments.
