I'm calling it right now

This book by Wolf and the revelations of what a fucking dumpster fire this orange shitgibbon's administration is; is NOT an accident.

They got their shitty ass tax bill passed and signed, and the Retrumplicans don't need this prick anymore.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

He'll be gone by spring. This was never about anything but transferring huge amounts of our nations treasure to the 1%

Donnie Short Fingers did that, and now, he's going to see how fucking worthless he is to the Retrumplicans.

if they'd tried to pass the tax bill with prez in transition. They wanted that bill rammed through without an additional headache.

He was going to quit the race before the primaries were over.
He was going to quit the race before the convention.
He was going to quit the race before the debates.
He was going to quit the race before election day.
He was going to quit the race before inauguration day.
He was going to quit the race right after inauguration day.
He was going to quit before the end of his first year.

When will folks wise up. The guy ain't quitting, and he isn't being forced out by the majority republican House and Senate.

THEIR primary base is the exact same group of deplorables as donnie's so they need to keep them on board. Their problem is now reaching out to everyone else - satisfy the neanderthals and lose everyone else. And with bannon threatening to primary all the "establishment" republicans, their base is even more important but that's good for us as he'll insist they go hard right. Of course, my feeling is that bannon screwed the pooch with this book thing - he's far less important and influential than he thought he was.

I only see 2 ways out of this.

1) The indictments get too close to family and he looks for an exit strategy.
2) He is as sick as I suspect and they can no longer hide the fact that they have to invoke the 25th.

I don't see anyway that we get enough republican senators to decide to convict the impeached Trump.

yet another 45 is done moment ...

Here is a recap of the has occurred since the early 90s.

* The "Conservative Movement" led by conservative propogandists like Limbaugh and christofascists reached a critical mass in the 90s in terms of brainwashing 1/3 of the country. Effectively convincing them they were the only true patriots and christians, and they were UNDER ATTACK.

* The GOP fed this beast, and gleefully joined in.

* Since that time they have increasingly started to believe their own bullshit, and have effectively detached their 1/3 from reality and put the "middle" 1/3 into a state of PTSD, hiding in a corner sucking their thumbs moaning "they are both the same>'

* The monster they created finally was too much to handle, and after years of whistling at bias and predjudice, when 45 came down the escalator they started to eat their masters and get behind the guy who full on said and did what they were being teased at for years.

* Now, the elected Rs are a mix of loons who are full on line with 45 and power drunk, craven scumbags whose fear of the monster they created (the base) that is loyal to 45 is 1,000,000 times greater than the good of the country.

SO ...

No, they aren't going to do anything about 45. You will see a handful, two handful at the most, DC republicans who break ranks, but every last one of them are more than willing to let 45 go so far as to launch nukes before they stand up to him and fear the base turning on them in a primary.

Jan 2018

Any "moderate" republican, or what we used to call "Rockefeller" republicans long ago left the GOP and joined the democrats pulling the whole country to the right. That just opened up the space on the right to the crazy faction to shift even further right. This lead directly to the "Tea Party" crowd.

Remove the phrase "Mission Accomplished" and last sentence, as they really go against your main point, and you are spot on.
