5. I never understand the outrage over Waco.

A bunch of religious cult fanatics who believed the world was ending committed suicide after attacking a lawful police raid for illegal automatic weapons.

Ruby Ridge was a clusterfuck, but Waco was handled pretty well. It's not anyone else's fault that the cultists doused themselves in gasoline and self immolated.

6. My Friend's Ex-Husband was one of the ATF Agents On That Raid

He got shot through the hand, and his buddy got killed. They didn't go in there because of religion. They went in there because they were told that they had an arsenal that was larger than some Central American countries, and that they were molesting kids. He actually had candy bars in his tac vest for the kids that he would encounter. Religious beliefs had nothing to do with it, unless your religion requires you to own rocket launchers.
