Family and friends of Hope Hicks believe the White House communications director will have to seek professional counseling after she leaves her job in the administration, according to a report published Thursday.
"Following the Trump victory and her [Hope Hicks] move into the White House, her friends and intimates talked with great concern about what kind of therapies and recuperation she would need after her tenure was finally over," an excerpt from Michael Wolff's forthcoming book "Fire and Fury" stated, as reprinted in GQ.
Hicks, 29, was the first person President Trump's campaign hired in 2015. She had worked for Matthew Hiltzik's New York-based public relations firm before jumping to Ivanka Trump's fashion brand, where the eldest Trump daughter recommended Hicks for her father's campaign.
"As the campaign progressed, moving from novelty project to political factor to juggernaut, Hicks family increasingly, and incredulously, viewed her as if having been taken captive," Wolff wrote.
Despite having worked directly for Trump over the past two and a half years, the now-president has had moments of intense rage with her performance.
"On more than one occasion, after a day one of the countless days of particularly bad notices, the president greeted her, affectionately, with 'You must be the worlds worst PR person,'" the same excerpt stated.

(182,726 posts)President Donald Trump reportedly made Hope Hicks, now his communications director, steam his pants while he was still wearing them and scolded her when she forgot the wrinkle-erasing device.
Hicks, who worked as his press secretary at the time, was in charge of making sure Trumps pants and jacket were sharp when they flew on his private plane, according to excerpts in a Washington Post review of the new tell-all book by former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, Let Trump Be Trump.
According to Lewandowski, Trump would shout out for Hicks to grab the steamer, which he apparently called "the machine," and she would then get to work while his clothes were still on him.
"Get the machine! Trump would shout, according to the book. "And Hope would take out the steamer and start steaming Mr. Trump's suit, while he was wearing it! She'd steam the jacket first and then sit in a chair in front of him and steam his pants."

IIRC, the instructions that come with irons and steamers caution against using them on the clothes you are actually wearing because you can burn the hell out of yourself. I dropped a steamer nozzle once, and it grazed my arm as it fell, taking the skin clean off in a nanosecond.

(182,726 posts)Trump appeared on screens on either side of Sarah Huck. He was IN the White House maybe 150 feet away. He delivered his bit about how great everything is.and they used two cameras - one straight forward and one at a side angle. He never turned to the second camera but all I could think was "Oh God! He's going to do the Bob Loblaw commercial thing!"

(6,974 posts)Relationship grew distant, because her Mom "allegedly" told her to NOT go work for tRump. Her mother it's said doesn't like nor trust fatso. She should have listened to her Mother. But then again, it's also "rumored" that Hicks has a thing for and is "WITH" fatso.
Being "WITH" nasty fatso is some nasty stuff. Hicks WILL need some therapy after Illegitimate's fake presidency is done. Pressing his pants with him WEARING them? The smell
