So yeah he's going to need to blow off some steam and release some stress by hitting those links. All that rage tweeting and being personally exposed to all of the world takes it's toll on a person.

. . .we should all go off for a weekend of recreation. Except for that part about all the roads and bridges being fixed.

will die today, most will die from old age but many will die from one disease or another, accidents, etc.

Thousands of wonderful people who do more to support others in one day than the trump and kushner klans combined do in their lifetimes will die TODAY. And you know who will live on, including Ryan and McConnell and Bannon and the rest and NO I am not suggesting something should happen to them, I am stating this to remind people that karma , god etc simply CANT exist and this proves it.

An uncommon weekly event. Obama of course never once left the golf course during 365-day annual vacations in Hawaii over the course of eight years.

Doesn't understand why they're making a big deal about the golf. "Obama was always playing golf, too."

I reminded him of this new invention called NUMBERS! And that it is, by simply COUNTING, provable that "it" has played 4 fewer rounds of golf in 11 months than Obama played in 8 years. And remember, Obama played 7 straight days on the Christmas vacation in 2016, or 3 weeks before he wasn't going to be POTUS any longer. So 8 years minus 4 weeks, or 95 months; remove those 7 rounds. "It" played 3 more rounds of golf in 11 months than Obama did in 95.

This guy looked like somebody kicked his dog.

I'm checking the weather in Florida to see if it is worth golfing this weekend. Could still be kinda "Florida cold" this weekend. That basically means below 50 and windy.

I'd go down there an play in a heartbeat! It's 2 degrees here right now, on a bright sunny day.

If it were 50 here, i'd play golf today. Geez if it were 40 and not windy i'd play.

14. Higher Humidity
Fri Jan 5, 2018, 03:34 PM
Jan 2018

With a breeze, the higher humidity causes it to "feel" colder. Plus, when you play in 70-80 each weekend, it's easy to get the "screw this, I live here, I don't have to play in this crap" attitude.

But, i can play some and i am just serious enough about it that i can block out pretty much anything unless it's actually "hurting" to play. (Or lightning. I ain't getting killed over it. It is just a game.)

Were i in Arizona or something, i'd much rather play when it 50 than 100.

It matters alot about sunshine. Because if there is sunshine, it can do alot to keep you warm. But as long as it's above about 55, I'll probably go out. Truth be known though, there's a stocking cap in my bag and I often keep a fleece in the car this time of year. And one year in December, I got a chance to play Bay Hill and it was about 45. I went anyway. Wasn't missing THAT chance. The whiskey in the locker room tasted all that much better afterwards.

Of course, I played once in a steady rain too. Which kinda speaks to my sanity state.

17. I've Only Played In A Full Blown Rain. . .

. . .not a drizzle or spitting mist, in tournaments. Once you've paid an entry fee, you're sort of committed. I had a rainsuit and all that stuff, because i wasn't paying $150 plus $50 per round to drop out because it was raining.

But, now that i don't play competitively any longer, if it's anything more than mist, i'm gone.

I'll take my chances with "iffy" weather because i pay one fee, greens fees and cart included, in December and i'm good for a year. (BTW: It's really cheap for someone who plays a lot. $1100 a year and i play 40 weekends plus about another 20 to 25 vacation days at 27 to 36 holes per day. So, figure 100 to 115 rounds per year.)

My per round cost ends up a around $10. You can barely play miniature golf for that.

I'm approaching retirement and have been looking around for a deal of some sort for about 80 - 100 rounds a year. But I don't wanna play some goat track either. Looking for that "Monday - Thursday" deal. Right now I play about 40 per year and probably average about $40 per round so I've got some room in that budget to buy in bulk.
