He is capable of longer term damage, and it will take things like chemo and surgery to undo his damage. Bannon is more like Ebola in that he jumps out of the jungle, does some serious damage, then slinks back into hiding.
So yeah, you got it right imho.

I know my response is silly, but if I had to choose I would go with Cancer. Ebola seems to be much worse than Cancer. The problem with this case is you might not know who is Cancer and who is Ebola.
