Has Mueller been forced to go political?

After Mueller had taken over the investigation, the lack of leaks as to where the probe was going became markedly noticeable, until recently. On Dec 31st, it was reported that George Papadopoulos while in Autralia, in a drunken condition, relayed to an Australian diplomat that he had been told that the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton. Yesterday, it was revealed that Mueller had corroborating materiel to Comey's accusations stemming from his meetings with Trump in the form of notes taken by Reince Priebus.

Yesterday, Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein had a meeting with house speaker Paul Ryan concerning information related to the Steele dossier that Sen Nunes and the house committee has requested. The DOJ has agreed to supply the information. This is information that the Republicans can cherry pick to make the investigation look bad. It also would potentially relay information to targets of the investigation, through leaks, what information they have on them, or maybe even expose sensitive national security assets.

It is clear that what the administration and Republicans, through Fox News and others, is trying to do is influence public opinion to the point that the the investigation is completely discredited. It appears as though Mueller is fighting fire with fire.

but others have had their hands on the same documents providing this information. Lawyers of persibs of interest, persons of interest, etc., etc..

I tend to believe, based on universal opinion, the Mueller is a consummate professional. Though, there is always room for the fact that he thinks Trump is so dangerous, based on what he knows, that this case deserves some leakage.

Seems like some info last evening was the result of leaks fromMuellers investigation, specifically the corroborating Priebus notes?

Are the Republicans through with Trump now that they have the tax cut and realize he is simply a liability from here on out? The new book will justify a move to Pence and a try at salvaging the mid terms. Could be the moment is now.

must be apoplectic about the discrediting and personal digs at the FBI coming out of the GOP. I wouldn't be surprised if this caused him to now go politicial by leaking ...

Feels like things are coming to a head.

He's not going to let anyone have a look at them until the flop. He also has no "tells." It's dangerous to bet against such a player.

Trump may have to go "all in" sooner than later.

There will certainly be more Republicans eligible to indict for obstruction of justice before this is over.
