You heard it here first. There will be calls for a criminal investigation, and probably an actual F.B.I. investigation, of the Democratic nominee for President in 2020. Doesn't matter who it is.

7. Toobin is so sharp

One of the few media types who brilliantly summarized why Jeffrey MacDonald is innocent:

"The story is so unusual it's probably true."

Absolutely. That places Toobin 1000 levels above all the knuckleheads who think they can figure out what happened via point by point study. Crime scene analysis could not be more laughable. Guesswork followed by guesswork.

I'm not surprised Toobin isolated this likelihood before anyone else. Trump would investigate Mother Theresa and have a demeaning nickname for her, if she challenged him. We can never underestimate the power of incumbency in a situation like this. Trump knows how the history books treat one term presidents as opposed to ones who were successfully re-elected. Nothing will be out of bounds for him.

It's partially why we are in far superior shape toward 2018 than 2020, which is an underdog.
