1. I believe GOP is letting it happen

because they are as guilty as he is. When he goes down, he will take the GOP down with him. They are terrified of what is happening. Truth sucks for them.

2. The GOP is planning on canceling the 2018 election.

If their tactical time line is successfully executed, the Constitution will no longer be the guideline for the nation.

Guiliani in 2016 predicted that the most recent election will be the nation's last. He may have been prescient, or not. But the GOP, in total power of three branches of the federal government, is going all out to maintain power beyond this year, regardless of a planned election. They know that they'll get their sox beat off them in November, and they'll see to it that it won't happen. They have all the power they want right now, and they're planning on getting rid of Mueller and nullifying the Trump/Russia investigation, then resist the social upheaval and declare that martial law will cancel the election.

But it's more likely that, as the GOP heads down this path and is dragging the rest of us with them, the voice of the GOP will begin to crack. A lot of GOPers don't want the nation to cease to exist in its present form. A lot don't want to see the end of Constitutional law. When the end comes near, a lot of GOPers will crack, join Dems, and move to end the coup.

Dangerous times, folks. We've become weak and we haven't been vigilant. We're being attacked from both outside and inside our boundaries.
