The #1 topic on the agenda at Camp David?

It will not be about the GOP legislative agenda.

It will be about protecting and defending Donald Trump and discrediting Michael Wolff, the Democrats, and the MainStream Media.

The book hit a nerve with Donald. He is obsessed about it.

He has already tweeted this morning about how "stable" he is and how he is "really smart"...

His next tweet might be: "I ain't crazy! I ain't crazy! I ain't! I ain"t! I ain't crazy!" !!

Look at the list of attendees. Most of these names aren't required to discuss legislative goals in person. There are too many people to do that efficiently. This can't succeed. Even major corporations would never attempt this. You do it completely differently.

This mini-summit will be an organizational cluster fuck wrt the budget, legislative goals, or anything conspiratorial (you don't conspire in crowds you don't trust).

And look where it is. Camp David? That is unfamiliar to trump. He spends zero time there. If there is one thing that upsets someone suffering from dimentia or altzheimers, it's the unfamiliar. It disorients them. It stresses them.

But, it is well designed to do one thing.

This is also a 25th amendmendment summit. Everyone there is a player in a 25th amendment action.

You wouldn't do this (hold this meeting, with this many people, at camp david) and expect good behavior from trump.

This looks like it was designed to put him in a fishbowl, stress him out, and then make a decision to commit him.

This meeting will be very good for that.

to remove him then and there.

I said it was designed to put him a fishbowl and let those that would vote on it and get support for it in congress to see what he is like.

A session to convince them that nothing can be accomplished with him in the drivers seat.

The actual removal would come later, after trying to get him to resign first.

The deal would be obvious: resign with a pardon from pence or we remove you now with the 25th. There would probably be a huge payoff from billionares to sweeten the deal.

The legislative summit makes no sense. Nobody can expect good results from this. Not even trump. This is done first with staff level contacts, which don't seem to have happened. Then the results are presented. They would already have been bought off on.

None of that has happened. There would have been leaks from both camps about what the agenda for the year would be.

It's like the old saw "A prosecutor never asks a question they don't know the answer to". A politician never meets to decide on something they haven't already agreed to.

The assumption that there is one specific action or article or law or goal is overly optimistic. That's how the rest of us think, not 45.

It's really simple: He's terrified because the world is not only about to ruin his white house infestation, we're going to tear down his private empire and imprison himself and his family.

And I still don't completely buy that the rnc will back him when he walks the plank: At some point, the evidence will really be too much for them to avoid, their polling will all plummet even more, and the cratering will be too much. One by one, the rats are already jumping ship.

It only remains to be seen exactly which fool will still be sitting next to him, holding the "old maid" card, as he's running away to a foreign country to avoid jail time. Kelly Anne? Sarah? Eric? Jared?

Personally, I'd be vewey vewey careful next time anyone from the weasle's nest gets on a private plane: It's probably going to south america, and some local banana republic banks are about to have their prayers answered.

this is a first for him, so I think the GOP leadership is forcing this meeting. I believe the leadership is afraid of losing their grip on power, and that's all that matters, not that the idiot is unstable, immoral, incompetent and just plain dumb.
This is about the 2018 election and how the unpopular GOP remains in power, even if it means no 2018 election. They are plotting and planning and nothing good will result, like the meeting after Obama's election. This Camp David meeting could be the beginning of the end. They're also looking at a replacement for Sessions, and I'm sure he'll be even worse. Imagine that!

It's going to get worse. Americans better get in the streets. There are protests happening, but the media isn't covering them. We need more bodies. We need national and international attention.

If rump is really in the early to mid stages of some form of dementia, this will push to extremes.

This will not end well, even if they keep the groups he interacts with small and short. He can't pay attention to long meetings. He needs sound bites and lots of rest.

This is absolutely the wrong place and format for him to get anything accomplished. It can't possibly be a working meeting.

Sat Jan 6, 2018, 02:59 PM

Whatever purpose this meeting has, it isn't a legislative strategy session. This is like when two world leaders meet. Usually, any agreements or initiatives have been worked out through diplomatic channels before the leaders meet. They have already agreed to either agree, or disagree, and on what points they will make public.

The same is true when you bring in ryan and mcconnel. Usually.

Except there is zero indication this has been done. No leaks have come out to build up the outcome.

Whatever they are meeting about, it isn't legislation. I just don't think it's conspiracy planning. Ryan and mitchie wouldn't come within 100 miles of a meeting like that in person. Probably half the room is wearing a wire.

Now maybe trump just demanded everyone show up and thinks he will just impose his wit and logic on everyone, but we know how that will end.

Some game is afoot. But it can't be the fire muehler conspiracy. They couldn't be THAT stupid, could they?

Local news refuses to cover any local protests.. I know because I've been to several where a few hundred peple show up and zero local coverage..
I remember well after Obama's election, any gathering of 10 or more teabaggers got a few minutes of coverage on every local news and very often on national news.
The local and national news are not sounding alarms like they should, but corporate media will go down with the ship as long as it's good for ratings.

As for the GOP at Camp David.. They're all corrupt up to their eyeballs. They're figuring out who will take the fall so they can carry on with securing power for the forseeable future.
