Rob Reiner tweet this morning

TEXT
Rob Reiner

@robreiner

The only true stable genius has to be Mr. Ed., who talks in more complex sentences than the current occupier of the Whitehouse.

A few other famous horses, too, but mostly Mister Ed.

of having casual conversation with show star, Alan Young, in 1996 while attending a Studebaker club meet. Studebaker sponsored the show for several years, and Wilbur always had a Studebaker of some sort during the years they were a sponsor. He was just as affable in person as he was when portraying Wilbur.

I'd much prefer Wilbur & Ed as Prez and VP in place of what we have now. Good ol' "common horse sense" is a rare commodity in the White House (and Congress!) these days.

She would drive it to work most days and would park it in the school's teacher lot.

go thru my hands in the 44 years since I got interested in them. I bought and sold the vehicles and parts thereof. I have a '57 Stude pickup and four different Stude cars at present. Quite a bit of history to the company - having built their first vehicle for sale in 1852! Their very first cars (1902 and 1903) were electric. In fact, they built electric cars and trucks right thru the teens - alongside the gas-powered cars and trucks which they intro'd into their lineup in '04.

If he were a genius, he would know better than to 'toot his own horn' - he would have lived his own life so people he is associated with could 'toot his horn for him'. HE is too stupid to figure that out!!

toot his horn for him because he thinks everyone already knows how tremendously great he is and they would never do a "good enough" job without appearing to be a suck up.
