This is undoubtedly the funniest book I have ever read. I have a degree in English/Italian Literature so yes, I have read many books.

This sort of book is for me, a book to lift my spirits, and a book to identify with. As much as I have never been a don at any uni much less in the 50's I too make faces and I too groan and I too try to get out of things that are boring. Anyone who says they don't can date Margaret.

24. One thing I really appreciate about Joy

Is that she does her homework. She is prepared for her guests. So whatever comes out of their mouths, she is primed and ready to respond. She also jumps in and refuses to let them spew and babble unchallenged. So no matter how much Jen attempted to get in her talking points, Joy identified them as such and stopped her cold. She is good. Very good. She really deserves a prime time show, but thankfully she seems to be their go to fill in host for the night time shows so we get to see her regularly throughout the week. I would say she is one of the hardest working people on MSNBC. She certainly logs in lots of hours!
