Tribe: Unless Trump is succeeded by lapdog who pardons him, his orange jumpsuit will match his hair.

From Laurence Tribe, minutes ago:

Even assuming a president can’t be criminally indicted while occupying the WH, no such shield protects an ex-president unless pardoned by his successor. Unless Trump is succeeded by a lapdog like Pence, he’ll be toast. His orange jumpsuit will match his fake hairdo.

to be removed from our collective memories ASAP. Nixon is mainly an afterthought for most Americans, or a metaphor for corruption. That is worse than any punishment he could have received. He is a historical pariah, an example of infamy.

The collapse of his "empire" would be added punishment especially to his fragile ego.

all this attention given to Trump's craziness, we should be focused on what the rightwing has accomplished with its huge
supply of money from the Koch Bros., Mercers, and the aid of Fox News. They have just passed the tax reform bill which gave
everything the rightwing has ever wanted since Reagan - 1 1/2 trillions deficit, the virtual end of Obamacare, and probably eventually the end of social programs. While the Democrats are fixated on Trump's outrageous behavior, the rightwing has successfully slipped through and turned back the FDR social revolution.
