OK I give up... It's like talking to a brick wall. When's the next mass shooting scheduled?

So what have I learned this weekend.

I'm more safe than in the past even with more and more people carrying guns.

There is no way to try and reduce gun violence.

Strict interpretation of some amendments the the Constitution is all that is allowed.

There are mounds and mounds of information out there that points to the fact that a proliferation of guns does not relate to an increase in gun violence.

Probably a lot more but I can't think of them.

I don't know what it is in me that thinks were are all screwed up in this country over guns and related things. Reason tells me one thing and gun owners tell me the opposite.

I don't like it but I can't change it. I am sorry that we have the gun culture we do.

Seems to be the pattern. It will probably be in Florida, at a mall.

2. You get to that point with these zealots. But I am seeing something break through this time.

I think the gunners are starting to lose the argument. I saw a very intelligent interview this morning with Mike Bloomberg. He was mad as hell and not listening to any excuses. He wants our president and his opponent to start talking leadership on the subject.

Others have been urging more action from the voters, pushback on the NRA.

Some of the gunners here are sensing that. There is a mood shift out there. People have had enough. I think the tipping point has been reached.

You just have temporary tiredness with these people. Don't despair. For the first time I'm sensing gunners on the run. They are losing and they know it...
