The GOP is going all out with a "You Didn't Build It" Campaign ...
Can we go all out with a "I Like Being Able To Fire People" Campaign?
We had started it months ago. Why have we abandoned it! Can we get back to this Romney quote and GO ALL OUT WITH IT??????

(17,199 posts)The Rethugs are mounting a massive YOU DIDN'T BUILD IT campaign. Even Scott Brown is getting in on it to attack Elizabeth Warren.
It's all about creating perceptions. This YOU DIDN'T BUILD IT campaign is of course misleading because WE know the president was talking about roads and bridges. But many Americans aren't aware of that, and this massive campaign job the Rethugs are mounting may just work.
And here we are sitting on the Romney "I LIKE BEING ABLE TO FIRE PEOPLE" line ... we've abandoned it, when we should be using it in a MASSIVE CAMPAIGN of our own.
If they define the president, we lose.
We have to DEFINE ROMNEY!

I want to see it, again and again, in youtube videos, cartoons, tv ads, etc.
Let's go!

(1,986 posts)I have had the unfortunate duty of firing about 6 people in my life time. I hated it. No matter how much each one was justified, I still hated it to the bone. I hate the thought of someone not being able to pay rent or buy food or to have to explain to their family that they can no longer provide for them...it's a god awful thing to do. You'd have to be a real heartless SOB to enjoy firing someone.

(17,199 posts)That's how most Americans feel and why a campaign focussing on this Romney quote would be so effective.
We have to define him for what he is ... a heartless SOB!
I wish there were more feedback on this.
I don't think we should let this slip away. We should be hammering the issue.

(17,199 posts)I checked the other forums and can't find it but I've seen people refer to it in several threads.
If there is a firearms forum, at what point do all the gun-related discussions go back to that forum?
