Wolff's Book is Karma Spreading Like Wildfire

Wolff's book is entirely believable. No one who's watched Trump's presidency unfold should have any problem believing Wolff's gossipy narrative.

Sure, it's kind of a Bob Woodward trust-me kind of expose', but 'Fire and Fury' is the type of tabloid tell-all that has plagued Democratic presidents and pols for decades, and it's satisfying to see a republican presidency laid bare for us to gawk at and ogle.

More important, it's absolutely delicious to see Trump exposed and dirtied by precisely the same vicious and salacious rumor mongering and character assassination he's practiced religiously and maliciously in his lifetime. It's that karma which is spreading like wildfire as news orgs and reporters are throwing caution to the wind and referencing Wolff's passages verbatim like confirmed fact.

That's what happens when you play the press and public for fools; Trump and his republican minions shamelessly lying with almost every utterance; abandoning even any pretense of truthfulness. If Wolff got anything wrong in his book, it won't matter to the public and press who are lining up for their chance to expose this petty charlatan and reaffirm their own residence in the real world.

Besides, we all know the truth about Trump is likely worse than any fiction.

Nearly half the public are indeed fools. Even many of the press are fools, Chuck Toad and Gretta Van Sustern to name just two. Paid fools, probably, but still fools.

Grade B "press/journalistic" fools, such as O'Liely, Hannity and Limbaugh are merely sideshow barkers and freaks. Wind up toys and puppets.

Why not try to play them?... Rhetorical.

Karma for trump.. Lying his damn head off and accusing accurate reporting on him of being "FAKE NEWS".

trump is the epitome of tabloid trash with his bully taunts and trashy smear jobs of good people, sitting on his perch in the white house.. besides, trump gave Michael Wolff Access..

Well done!

He doesn't have the patience or ability to read a book but if he did, since it mentions him so often I'll bet he'd blank out all the meaning and love it because it's about him.

How can so many people have already read it?? I'm thrilled, of course, but just trying to figure that one out.

According to Variety:

On its first day of release, bookstores in major cities like Washington D.C., New York, and Los Angeles reported selling out of the initial order, and other shops in places like Oxford, Miss., and Shaker Heights, Ohio, also said that buyers quickly snatched up copies of their first batch.

Amazon already has the title on back order, with a ship date of two to four weeks.

The same thing happened when Hillary's book hit the stores. There were tons of fake one-star reviews on Amazon and the people who wrote them hadn't even read the book. They were Russian bots and rightwing nuts, all they wanted was to say something bad about Hillary. Many of us when on Amazon every day for a week and complained about the bad reviews, and we got them deleted. Finally enough real reviews were posted for her book that it didn't matter about the fake "bad" ones.

It's just standard procedure, in order to get reporters and reviewers to mention their book before the sell date. In this case the do-do hit the fan immediately because of Trump's angry tweets and recriminations about Michael Wolff. Also the Steve Bannon quotes have been confirmed, along with several other things. Now everybody has heard and we all want to read it.

....that the book will contain nothing but effusive praise. This is surely why Trump allowed Wolff so much access. Trump assumed, with no other justification than that he wanted it to be so, that Wolff was gathering up material to write a book praising Trump's many imagined virtues and capabilities. Trump may not even realize how pitifully few he possesses of either.

When the book turned out to contain Wolff truly observed, as opposed to what Trump wished Wolff had been observing, he lost it, and he has probably only heard ten per cent of it by now. I'm sure those reading it to him have left out plenty of passages they fear might send Trump into cardiac arrest. After all, even a few Trumpadors have to realize how awful a Mike Pence presidency would be.

By the time they get their act together to push back it will be too late. The back stories that Wolff fleshes out seem to fit well with what we know for sure from watching these characters over the past few years.

An author with a credibility issue writes an expose of Trump.

Trump issues a denial.

But Trump is such a chronic liar the denial mostly ignored.

Especially when Trump Tweets that he is a very stable genius.
