Older than dirt and just plain whiny

Hey, you. Yes, you….. we know you are older than dirt and the world has changed out of all recognition in your life time, but we have a pretence at equality now, and the situation was improving all the time and we are not going to allow you to take us back to the ‘good ole days’. We know equality and justice is an alien concept and makes you feel uncomfortable with the world. But it is time to listen up, no-one is out to get you, not even a little bit. They really are not. But your pretence that they are is what seems to give you your permission to be offensive to others. Yeah, yeah, I know. You say that you do not intend any harm by what you say or what you do. As you ‘really’ do not mean to ‘offend’ the big cry-babies, to whom your barbs and taunts are directed, that we should hitch up our big man pants and take it on the chin, all the while you stamp your foot and pout.

Here is the thing, you do not get to decide what other people should find offensive. Today minorities get to stand up and say hell no. And guess what, there is not a single thing you can do about it, however much you try and shut us up and shut us down.

With your dog whistles, your misogyny and sexism, your homophobia and islamophobia, we do find you offensive.

With your demands that we must tolerate your intolerance, we do find you offensive.

With your cries of us being anti-white because we refuse to accept that your white is right, we do find you offensive.

With your increasingly shrill demands that seek to exclude communities from equality, we do find you offensive.

You may think the fact that you have elected a white supremacist gives you permission to be as offensive as you want while claiming victim hood. Nope. The faux offended shtick while you are causing offence is not going to work. We get to decide what is and is not offensive. In 2018, you do not get to decide that. You are not victim.
