I'm retired! (Used to work for the Federal government, REALLY!)

Nothing started until 10 a.m. We first had to acclimate ourselves to having to wake up, get to work, etc. so coffee time till 10. After that the meetings would start with donuts and more coffee. Then lunch. After lunch the REAL work would happen! Fun times!

worked IN FACT from 9 - 5:30 (with an hour out for lunch,) and a number of years, actually worked 'overtime' until 8 (withOUT compensation!)
