WH: Trump's physical won't include psychiatric evaluation

President Trump's physical exam this week will not include a psychiatric evaluation, the White House said Monday.

"No," White House spokesman Hogan Gidley told reporters on Air Force One who asked whether Trump will undergo a psychiatric exam.

Gidley would not expand on what the exam will involve. The White House has said that physician Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson will issue a public report on the results.

Trump, 71, is scheduled to undergo a routine physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center outside Washington, D.C.

The checkup comes amid swirling questions about whether Trump is mentally fit to serve as commander in chief following a bombshell book that portrays chaos in his White House.

It is such a simple test to give. I would think he would LOVE to prove us all wrong.

He'd fail unless the words were "Donald Trump Trumpster", and even then he might tell "lock her up"

The do referrals to other doctors in other fields if they see it is necessary. Of course the patient has the final choice of following through on that advice or not.

Considering the Moron's history of doctors (questionable) he will not get that sort of referral and if he does he won't follow up with it since he is a stable genius.

But you have me picturing Donnie scratching out the "a" and writing in an "i" on his report.

...and Grandpa need never know he is being assessed in that way as well as for his blood pressure and knee reflexes.

However, I doubt we will ever be told the full results -- oh, Rachel says the Dr Admiral is responsible for making them public. But only as much as the patient allows. Hm.

12. Yep. A mini cog test takes only minutes

It would actually do more harm not to do the mini test. There are Rxs to help slow down mental decline. If Trump has dementia, early stage or later, he should be made aware of it and told of his further testing, care, and treatment options.
