(11,244 posts)Graham loves the camera, why not ask him why a British National cared more about our Republic than he does.

(21,946 posts)In order to refer them, they'd have to list the reasons why and those would be false charges.

If any of us conducted ourselves on the job like Congress does, we would have been fired a long time ago.

(7,142 posts)How about the Democratic party get some unity like Republicans do and stand together and call for Grassley and Graham to resign, now that would have to be covered by the conservative M$M.

(61,675 posts)make sure they get full news coverage. I've heard from congresspersons that they frequently have news conferences, but they never get decent media coverage, lical for their constituents at best.
I think they need to call a group and decide on who will speak for the group and tell the media they have a major announcement. Make it big, powerful, write up their position, also.

(36,234 posts)They are US Representatives & Senators! Call the stations & demand that they send someone to your press conferences. Get a few key people to be spokespersons, & get them on the Sunday morning shows every fucking week. If the shows won't invite you, call the station & ask why they won't invite democratic US Representatives & Senators to their shows when they invite republican ones? Make a fucking stink.
Also, don't forget sound bites. People are emotional about politics. You can't just say, "We're better. Go to our Platform page & read it for yourself." You have to give people an emotional reason to go to your site to start with. If the dems had bothered to read George Lakoff, they would have realized why Frank Luntz's dishonest sound-bite campaigns, like "Healthy Forests," & "Clean Skies," & "No Child Left Behind," were so successful.
Tom Perez made a comment about Arpaio, saying the best the GOP has to offer is child molesters & criminals. That's great! But the dems need to have an arsenal of sound bites for every issue & they need to be out there on a weekly basis, ahead of the ball. A Better Deal is a fucking yawn & no one is going to check out the democratic platform page based on that slogan.

(12,482 posts)Abuse of process, filing false reports, violating their oath to protect and defend the Constitution and the nation against all threats both foreign and domestic. They're both up to their elbows in shit (unclean hands). It will take Trump's Justice Department to prosecute or a Democratic wave in 2018. I think we'll have to concentrate our efforts on winning big in 2018, as the Justice Department is headed by Trump suck up and demonic garden gnome Jefferson Beauregard Sessions. Is Beauregard code for Ku Klux Klan?

(16,492 posts)the time worn cliché.. "Don't watch what I say, watch what I do."
We need to watch every move Republicans in power make as well as what they say. The two seem to go hand in hand.
