Makes you wonder if President Trump understands the obscure concept of "majority rules." Everything that happens in the federal government, since January 20, 2017 to the present, is solely the responsibility of the Republican majorities in Congress and their president.

And that is what I think is eating him

The filibuster and 60 votes is keeping him from having the partizan rubber stamp he wants.

He wants the filibuster removed completely

There is no doubt anymore whether there was collusion. His own fricken son invited Russians close to the Kremlin to receive dirt on Hillary. Other members of his staff communicated with the Russians for that same goal as well. Others signaled support in relation to the sanctions against Russia (the bill from October hasn't been signed, yet, right?) for their own economical interests. And yet the Trumpists can continue to claim that there was no collusion.

Republicans seem to be in control of everything at the moment. They're renewing already-discredited Clinton probes over at DOJ, they were able to successfully replace Scalia on SCOTUS, Trump/GOP is stacking other courts with unqualified/extremely ideological nominees, in Congress, Republicans have completely frozen Democrats out of the legislative process on things like Healthcare and Tax Reform and, in some cases, parts of the Russia "investigation", which Republicans like Nunes appear to be obstructing. What exactly are they NOT in charge of at the moment?

come up with a better narrative, control the situation because the storyline that Steele was a skeevy, 3rd tier intelligence officer deliberately digging for dirt on poor innocent Donnie (directed and paid by Hillary, of course) was blown out of the water with Feinstein's reveal.

Time to call in the replacement writers because Grassley and Graham have thoroughly humiliated themselves. In another thread, I suggested ringing up Roger Stone and David Bossie, two fine, accomplished fiction writers.

The hotplate on the Trumpster's ass must be plenty uncomfortable. You can almost smell the sweat. You can almost sense the desperation.

I'm warming up my tiny violins.

...Trump's reduced to the bottom of the barrel for representation. Who really wants to script the disembowelment period of this diseased presidency?

He wanted to be seen as an anti-hero, but he's just, transparently, the con in his racket.
