I find it interesting that these polls come out that say

trump is not fit for office....

For all those who voted for the orange shit gibbon, you saw him in action during the campaign...so FUCK YOU!!!

and for those of you who sat on your hands and didn't bother to vote: SHAME ON YOU!!!

speak much about politics because 9/10 it ends in yelling. Usually her because you know they are devoid of facts and I'm tossing them out right and left.

Her father in law has cancer so her husband is taking care of him. I told her oh I just got an email saying that the Family paid medical leave act is here now, maybe he can take advantage of that. She said he looked into it and we both agreed that this is going to be a great solution for a lot of people. And then I said...and you can thank a Democrat. Well she did and then as usual it escalated from there.

That ship has sailed. We need to focus of the here and now.

It is a good thing for people to come to the realization they made a mistake. That's the first step of not repeating it.

Because a lameduck Dem congress was used to give a tax break to the uber rich, because of TPP and because Putin was rigging the election with the help of the GOP. And still Hillary got more votes.

People feared more of the same. They got more of the insane.

Hillary would be president, and everything else you said is pretty much true.

There was suspected election fraud. If memory serves me, there have only been 5 times when this has happened (including W and Trump) and the first one is suspect because it may have been incorrect because of the lack of adequate counting systems established through out all the states.

Funny how a very rare statistical win has happened twice in the last 16 years to the benefit of RepubliCONS. Funny how lucky they are.

As a nation, we go around criticizing other countries because they do not have democratic institutions. But the electoral college prevents us from electing our president in a democratic way. And look at the results. GW Bush and Trump. We need to amend the Constitution to end the electoral college and to reduce the influence of large donations and expenditures in our elections. I don't know how we can achieve the latter, maybe through an amendment defining a person as a human being, but ending the electoral college we should and must do.

My vote in presidential elections here in California makes no difference. I know California will vote Democratic overall, but as an individual, my vote for a Democrat or for whatever -- makes no difference. If the majority in California votes a certain way, one vote more or less here is irrelevant.

We need a system in which, in presidential elections, every vote really count. Even if you live in a very red or a very blue state, it should be worthwhile to get out and vote.

the firefighters union which endorsed John Kerry and Obama refused to endorse Clinton even though one of her big accomplishments was getting help for first responders after 9/11.

there was no good reason for them not to endorse clinton.

didn't vote against him (i.e. for Hillary Clinton) in 2016 is in no position to complain. That's how I see these polls. They witnessed his actions and rhetoric during the campaign. He tried his hardest to let them know that he shouldn't be allowed in the WH, but they wouldn't believe him.

... you say its like laughing at a bus full of screaming passengers who are driven by a drunk driver and they say ... well, not like that.

Because they're not thinking about how Red Don is going to hurt America, they ... TO THIS DAY ... think they're exempt from his shit treatment of the country.
