It needs to be said:
As an American, I wish to start a groundswell of support for those who live in Haiti, Africa and Central America. I apologize for the disgusting and hateful words of Donald Trump and wish for you to know that you are valued and affirmed! I ask my fellow America to extend like statements. Let the world know that this nation is better than it's president!!!!
Even more than the hateful words are the hateful actions taken by him and his cronies in the republican party. Often I feel that our nation needs some introspection in how we interact with the world both as a nation and as individuals. We need to back up our affirmations with actions of advocacy on behalf of those in need. Be it in the US or globally. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Had spoken about often: "The Beloved Community" Let our condemnation be backed up with action and advocacy!
