The ROAR of the crowd when David Letterman announced Barack Obama on his new show was amazing.

It's finally on Netflix.

Letterman announces Obama and the audience stands up and ROARS and CHEERS.

I know you've all been shouldering a sense of what we no longer have.

Watch this and you'll feel it all over again.

I've just started watching it, so I have no details to share yet.

He got as far as "The 44th President of the United States...," and the crowd went nuts.

He DID ask the audience if they knew who the guest was. One guy raised his hand and Letterman asked him to come up and whisper it to him, and he said "William Jefferson Clinton." Letterman laughed and said "Okay," then announced Obama.

I'm guessing a Letterman audience would know who "44" was...a Fox audience might think "YAY! It's Poppy Bush!"
