The people did not speak in the last election.
The people did not vote for Donald Trump.
There is no reason to keep using that as an excuse to keep him in office.
Almost 3 million more people voted against Donald Trump than voted for him. Yet, due to an archaic electoral vote system, he was able to claim victory. The electoral system spoke in the last election, not the people.
It's time for Republicans to stop repeating that nonsense and do what is right for our country.

I do not believe Congress has the moral authority -- or the ethical right -- to impose their will on people who oppose their policies to the extent that they do.

(51,585 posts)what Country Over Party means anymore. The entire party has lost its moral compass and soul. They are being blackmailed and complicit in crimes against our country by a known foreign enemy. Not that long ago they would have been tarred and feathered as traitors by now.
